Fees and Expenses
my529 fees are some of the lowest in the 529 industry.
my529’s asset-based fee structure has two parts
- The Underlying Fund Expenses of the underlying investments
- The Administrative Asset Fee
Underlying Fund Expenses
Vanguard, Dimensional and PIMCO:
Vanguard, Dimensional and PIMCO charge an Underlying Fund Expense for each underlying fund.
Depending on which investment option you select for your account, the Underlying Fund Expenses range from:
|Enrollment Date Investment Options||0.031% to 0.037%
($0.31 to $0.37 per $1,000 invested)
|Static Investment Options||0.000% to 0.111%
($0.00 to $1.11 per $1,000 invested)
|Customized Investment Options||0.000% to 0.350%
($0.00 to $3.50 per $1,000 invested)
(Underlying Fund Expenses do not appear on your quarterly statements because Vanguard, Dimensional and PIMCO deduct them. The performance and market values of an account containing Vanguard, Dimensional or PIMCO underlying funds include the deduction of any underlying fund expenses.)
There is no Underlying Fund Expense assessed on FDIC-insured accounts.
Administrative Asset Fee
This annual fee is charged to your account by my529. The Administrative Asset Fee accrues daily and is reflected in the NAV for each investment option and each underlying investment offered within Customized investment options.
The fee ranges from 0.100 percent to 0.140 percent ($1 to $1.40 per $1,000 invested), depending on which Enrollment Date, Static, or Customized investment option you select for your account.
|Enrollment Date Investment Options||0.110 percent
($1.10 per $1,000 invested)
|Static Investment Options||0.100 percent to 0.110 percent
($1 to $1.10 per $1,000 invested)
|Customized Investment Options||0.140 percent
($1.40 per $1,000 invested)
