Fees and Expenses
my529 fees are some of the lowest in the 529 industry.
my529’s asset-based fee structure has two parts
- The Underlying Fund Expenses of the underlying investments
- The Administrative Asset Fee
Underlying Fund Expenses
Vanguard and Dimensional:
Vanguard and Dimensional charge an Underlying Fund Expense for each underlying fund.
Depending on which investment option you select for your account, the Underlying Fund Expenses range from:
Options | Fee Range |
---|---|
Age-Based Investment Options | 0.010 percent to 0.045 percent ($0.10 to $0.45 per $1,000 invested) |
Static Investment Options | 0.000 percent to 0.115 percent ($0.00 to $1.15 per $1,000 invested) |
Customized Investment Options | 0.000 percent to 0.330 percent ($0.00 to $3.30 per $1,000 invested) |
(Underlying Fund Expenses do not appear on your quarterly statements because Vanguard and Dimensional deduct them. The performance and market values of an account containing Vanguard or Dimensional underlying funds include the deduction of any underlying fund expenses.)
