Updated my529 Program Description available now

my529 issued a new Program Description dated March 19, 2025.

You can read and download the document at my529.org here, or at my529.org by clicking on the Program Description link under “Learn” in the right-hand side menu.

Changes and updates to the plan include:

  • Scheduled updates to the Target Enrollment Date investment option.
  • Removal of one my529 single-fund portfolio previously available in the Customized options.
  • Updated fee tables and benchmark tables.
  • Utah state income tax benefit percentage adjustment.
  • Year-end contribution deadlines.
  • Update to federal gift tax exclusion amounts.

my529 periodically issues revised editions of the Program Description and inform account owners of changes to the plan. Supplements to the Program Description are published as needed.
