Expense ratios change for two underlying funds

The Operating Expense Ratios have changed for two underlying funds used in my529’s customized options.

Dimensional Fund Advisors has raised the Operating Expense Ratio for the Global Allocation 25/75 Portfolio (DGTSX) from 0.25 percent to 0.26 percent, or $2.60 per $1,000.

DGTSX is available as an underlying investment only in the Customized Age-Based and Customized Static investment options. It is not a component of my529’s predetermined age-based and static investment options.

The Vanguard Group has lowered the Operating Expense Ratio for the International Value Fund (VTRIX) from 0.43 percent to 0.40 percent, or $4.00 per $1,000.

VTRIX was closed to new investments as an underlying investment in the Customized Age-Based and Customized Static investment options as of July 25, 2011. It is not a component of my529’s predetermined age-based and static investment options.

The expense ratio reduction for VTRIX lowers the maximum of the annual asset-based fee range for all my529 customized investment options. The range is now 0.200 percent to 0.593 percent, which is equivalent to $2.00 to $5.93 per $1,000 invested annually.
