Expense Ratios for Two Underlying Funds Change

The Operating Expense Ratios for two underlying funds used in my529’s customized options have changed.

Dimensional Fund Advisors has raised the Operating Expense Ratio for the Global Allocation 25/75 Portfolio (DGTSX) from 0.25 percent to 0.26 percent, or $0.26 per $1,000.

DGTSX is available as underlying investment only in the Customized Age-Based and Customized Static investment options. It is not a component of any of my529’s predetermined age-based and static investment options.

The Vanguard Group has lowered the Operating Expense Ratio for the International Value Fund (VTRIX) from 0.43 percent to 0.40 percent, or $0.40 per $1,000.

VTRIX was closed to new investments as an underlying investment in the Customized Age-Based and Customized Static investment options as of July 25, 2011. It is not a component of any of my529’s predetermined age-based and static investment options.

The expense ratio reduction for VTRIX lowers the maximum of the annual asset-based fee range for all my529 customized investment options. The annual asset-based fee now ranges from 0.20 percent to 0.593 percent, which is equivalent to $0.20 to $5.93 per $1,000 invested annually.
